Balkanfolk Workshop is a meeting of Balkan folklore admirers from all continents who come to learn more about the customs, culture and the beauty of the Balkans.

The workshop Balkanfolk 2002 will be held from 10th to 23th July 2002 in the sunniest Bulgarian mountain resort Pamporovo situated at about 200 km from Sofia, hidden in the heart of the Rhodopes, the mountain, which has preserved its picturesque scenery and unique nature, glorified by the mythical singer Orpheus. You may choose up to 6 classes daily for 10 educational days. You also have the possibility to take part in Balkanfolk without attending the lessons. Anyway, you will spend unforgettable vacation days in the unique atmosphere of Pamporovo, and wonderful folklore nights in the enjoyable company of the Balkanfolk orchestra and singers.

Teachers - specialists from the respective country guide the educational courses accompanied with authentic live music in order to expand your knowledge of folklore.

Folk dance lessons continue 90 minutes. They are divided in groups: for beginners and for advanced study.

Other lessons (individual or in a group) continue 60 minutes.
